Min. Greenidge brings Easter joy to Region Six children

Children from the communities of Pepper Street, Heathburn, East Bank Berbice, Angoy’s Avenue New Amsterdam and Sandvoort Village, West Canje Berbice in Region Six (Region Six) were given an extra special Easter treat when Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Carl Greenidge and Mrs. Oumy Ndiaye, wife of Acting Prime Minister took the traditional kite distribution initiative to their communities.

The Acting PM interacted with the children and reminded them to fly their kites in open spaces. Additionally, Minister Greenidge used the opportunity to educate the children on the importance of staying in school.

In closing the Acting PM wished all the children and their families a Happy Easter.
