“By Faith” Foundation donates printer/ photocopier, other items to Baramita Students

DPI, Guyana, Friday, May 25, 2018

The students of Baramita Village, Region One (Barima Waini) on Thursday, received a printer/photocopier from the ‘By Faith Foundation for Hinterland Children’ on Thursday.

The machine was presented to Acting Headmistress of the Baramita Primary School Leola Feidtkou, by Founder of the NGO Leslyn Holder.

Holder was part of an outreach led by Minister of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs Sydney Allicock. Community Development Officer (CDO), Virgil Ferreira, Legal Officer Mariam Andrew and representatives of the Hands Across Nations were also present.

Feidtkou said that the printer/photocopier will be used to print test papers and other materials for the students at the Baramita Primary School. This, she noted, will ease the burden of having to send the papers to neighbouring villages or Georgetown.
