The National Insurance Scheme has reintroduced Amnesty on interest for payment of contributions for December 2019, owing at January 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020, to August 15, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The extended deadline for payment of the contribution without interest is September 30, 2020.

Employees, and self-employed, persons who have existing agreements to pat outstanding contributions with the National Insurance Scheme’s Debt Recovery Unit are not entitled to the waiver of interest.
