Exxon clarifies local content list

ExxonMobil said the list of 227 Guyanese companies released by the government provided products or services to the company itself or one of its contractors.

Exxon released a list of 24 of its main contractors in its development operations for oil production in 2020.

Earlier this week the government released a list of companies benefiting from Exxon’s overall operations.  ExxonMobil has pumped over GY$10BILLION into the local economy for 2017 and the first quarter of 2018. in the 1st quarter of 2018, ExxonMobil’s activities utilized 227 Guyanese owned companies.
