First reading of Nurses and Midwives Bill in National Assembly

The Nurses and Midwives Bill 2018 was this afternoon presented during the 98th Sitting of the National Assembly by Minister of Public Health, Volda Lawrence.

The Bill makes provision for the registration and regulation of nurses, midwives, nursing assistants and specialist nurses, and for related matters.

It was read for the first time.
