This year’s Calypso final saw first-timer Onicka Joseph being crowned as the new Monarch of Guyana. Joseph emerged the winner from a group of ten. Her “Woman is Boss” piece was an instant hit with the National Park audience who sang along with the tune that spoke to the strength of women in Guyana.
