Guyana, UK sign agreement to combat drug trafficking

The Government of Guyana today inked an agreement with the Government of the United Kingdom (UK) to enhance cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking.
The agreement was signed between Head of the Presidential Secretariat (HPS), Dr. Roger Luncheon and British High Commissioner, Andrew Ayre.

It will facilitate the deepening of ties between the law enforcement agencies of both countries, and it provides for significant technical assistance and training to be extended to Guyanese law enforcement personnel by the Administration of the UK.
