According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of GWI, Leana Bradshaw, the agency has partnered with the Guyana Carnival Committee to give thirty lucky customers general admission and VIP tickets to Guyana Carnival events identified by GWI.

“GWI is doing it big for its customers this year. It’s called the GWI Sweet 16 anniversary promotion and it is open to all GWI offices countrywide,” Bradshaw said.

Customers with outstanding balances between $5,000 and $15,000 can enter for a chance to become eligible to win general admission tickets to ‘Stink & Dutty J’ouvert’, ‘Destraction’ and VIP tickets to ‘Tribe Ignite’ once they pay that outstanding debt.

“Customers who clear outstanding balances totalling $15,000 and above enter into a draw to win a VIP ticket for ‘Revelnation’. So, we’ve got very, very exciting plans for you,” Bradshaw noted that the promotion is open to domestic customers only.

She further added that “the draws will be done weekly, leading up to these events. It runs from May 7 which is Monday coming, until May 23.”

The Guyana Carnival, the brainchild of Hits and Jams Entertainment, has expanded with the Government and other agencies and organisations coming on board to facilitate the event. It is expected to provide an economic boost to several industries.

The event will run from May 18 to May 27 and forms part of the country’s 2018 Independence celebrations.
