Handing over of Forensic Audit Reports to Commissioner of Police

Ministry of Finance, Guyana, November 4, 2016

Hon. Jaipaul Sharma, Minister Within the Ministry of Finance met with Commissioner of Police Seelall Persaud at Commissioner of Police’s office to hand over the Final Reports of the Forensic Audits of the Sparandaam Housing Project-(Special Investigation of the Central Housing and Planning Authority) and the Guyana World Cup/Guyana World Cup Inc.

The decision to have these documents handed over to the Police Commissioner for investigation was made at Cabinet Meeting held on October 25, 2016.

Present at the handing over  were: Hon. Jaipaul Sharma-Minister within the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Seelall Persaud-Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sydney James – Assistant Commissioner of Police and Head of the Special Organized Crime Unit (SOCU), Mr. Christopher Ram-Forensic Auditor and Mr. John Barnes-Forensic Auditor.
