―Coalition government has record of development – PM Nagamootoo

Residents of Rosignol were told the Coalition Government’s record of transformational development during the past four years speaks for itself.
This declaration came from, Prime Minister the Hon. Moses Nagamootoo and Dr. Joey Jagan, son of late former President, Dr. Cheddi B. Jagan.
They and a team of speakers inclusive of former Member of Parliament, Jennifer Wade, received a huge welcome at Rosignol, Mahaica Berbice, for their final political meeting in Region Five before Monday’s elections.
Prime Minister Nagamootoo stated that on the management of the country’s newfound wealth, citizens can be reassured of the leadership being offered by the coalition. He said their record speaks for itself.
“So, you know now for sure West Berbice that you have a government in which you can trust, you have a leader who has shown that he has put the nation before himself and this is what you need to move forward,” the Prime Minister declared.
Telling residents of Rosignol that this final meeting with them before Monday’s election was special for him, The Prime Minister advised them to consider their future and that of their children when choosing their leaders to take the country forward.
“Fantastic development in this region, let us not stop the progress.” PM Nagamootoo urged.
Dr. Joey Jagan then came to the podium to reiterate his support for His Excellency, President David Granger and his team, for their management of the country. He said the President’s leadership is key at a time when Guyana stands on the cusps of great development.
“We have to focus on Mr. Granger. He is a good leader; Mr. Granger is guiding us in the right direction.” Dr. Jagan stated.
