Permanent Secretary, Ms. Lorene Baird, today received eight hampers and other essential supplies from representatives of the Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. Ms. Baird received the donation on behalf of the Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Hon. Dr. Vindhya Persaud.

Permanent Secretary Baird said that the hampers would be given to those who really needed them in our society, and she looked forward to continued future cooperation with the Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints.
In accepting the hampers, Ms. Baird noted that the donation of the hampers and supplies was very timely and that the Ministry appreciated the generous donation from the Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints.
