Minister Norton applauds WI for momentous win

Minister of Social Cohesion, Dr. George Norton wishes to applaud the West Indies Cricket team for upping their England counterpart for the first time in many years.

The West Indies team recently won by four wickets during the 1st Test match of their tour of England at Southampton.

Minister Norton salutes the team for an excellent game, which he says, has given the Caribbean people something to celebrate even amid this global pandemic.

“I am quite hopeful that this win will inspire more victories and set the tone for the West Indies Cricket team’s return to its glory days,” Minister Norton noted.

The second and third matches are slated for Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 24, 2020.

“We have much confidence that our boys will do us proud,” Minister Norton posited.
