Ministry of Natural Resources expresses condolences on the death of CEO of NICIL Mr. Horace James

It is with deepest sympathies that the Ministry of Natural Resources expresses condolences on the death of Chief Executive Officer of the National Industrial and Commercial Investments Limited Mr. Horace James.

Mr. James who hailed from the town of Linden, was a trained mining engineer who served his country and more specifically the mining sector for several years. He functioned as the Head of the Linmine Secretariat for 16 years as well as in numerous managerial positions in the bauxite plant in the capacities of senior engineer of the Bauxite Company.  Mr. James had a wealth of knowledge on the history of Linden, and bauxite mining. It was his belief that there are numerous opportunities and scope for further development of the bauxite industry.

The Ministers of Natural Resources, though saddened by this loss, are thankful for the significant contributions that he has made to the natural resources sector. Their thoughts and prayers, and that of their staff, go out to the relatives and close friends of Mr. Horace James.

May those who loved him begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived and served, and that his life gave memories too beautiful to forget.
