National Examinations 2020 – Guyana

Press Release, Ministry of Education – Having received the official time table from the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), the Government of Guyana wishes to announce the following – that National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) will be held on the 1st and 2nd July, 2020.

The dates for the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) have been given as 13th July, 2020- 4th August, 2020 and 13th July–31st July, 2020 respectively.

Please note these examinations will be written using the paper-based modality.

The official Examination Order will be Gazetted and published tomorrow June 3rd, 2020. This order will address the public health protocols to be implemented for these examinations.
