New UN Guyana Peace and Development Specialist pays courtesy call on Minister Harmon

Georgetown, Guyana – (July 14, 2016) Minister of State, Mr. Joseph Harmon, today, received a courtesy call from Mr. Fabio Oliva, Peace and Development Advisor for the United Nations in Guyana and Suriname, at the Ministry of the Presidency.

During the meeting, Mr. Fabio informed Minister Harmon of his new responsibilities and discussions centered on the areas of social cohesion and governance.  Mr. Fabio was accompanied by Ms. Khadija Musa, the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Resident Representative in Guyana.
