Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union (EU) to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, His Excellency Fernando Ponz Cantó, today, called on Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd, during which they discussed mutual areas of interest, including the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation.

Guyana-EU relations were established with the signing of the historic Georgetown Agreement in 1975.
