PM receives courtesy call from India State Minister

DPI, Guyana, Thursday, May 10, 2018

India’s Minister of State, Satyapal Singh, today, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo at his official residence where several areas of cooperation were discussed.

Prime Minister Nagamootoo reiterated Guyana’s commitment to strong bilateral relations with India.

The Prime Minister’s delegation was joined by Minister within the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs, Valerie Garrido-Lowe, Minister of Communities, Ronald Bulkan, Minister of Public Telecommunications, Catherine Hughes and Minister within the Ministry of Finance, Jaipaul Sharma.

Accompanying India’s State Minister was H.E. V. Mahalingam, High Commissioner of Indian to Guyana and other officials.

Also present were the respective wives of the Indian State Minister, Indian Ambassador, Prime Minister Nagamootoo and Minister Sharma.
