President Ali engages NICIL
His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, on Wednesday, hosted a virtual meeting, from State House, with the members of the National Industrial and Commercial Investments Limited (NICIL).
NICIL is a state-owned agency that is responsible for acquiring, holding and managing the Government’s shares, stocks, debentures or other securities of any company, co-operative societies or other corporate bodies.
Just yesterday, President Ali addressed the nation on plans in motion to get the country back to some level of normalcy following the March 2 elections coupled with the effects of the novel coronavirus.
Since taking office, President Ali has been hosting several virtual meetings in an effort to get the priorities of the nation in order, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
