President Donald Ramotar and other Caribbean and Latin American Heads look on as Cuban President Raul Castro and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff cut the ribbon to open the Mariel container terminal. The $957M port was financed by BNDES, a Brazilian bank and is equipped to handle vessels passing through the expanded Panama Canal which is now underway.
