Press Release – RHTY&SC bestows Dolphin Award on Prime Minister

Prime Minister Hon. Brigadier (ret’d) Mark Phillips was, today, presented with the Dolphin Award of Excellence, the highest award by the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTY&SC) M.S.

Club Secretary/CEO, Mr. Hilbert Foster; Vice President, Mr. Mark Papannah, Assistant Secretary/CEO, Mr. Simon Naidu and Youth Ambassador, Ms.  Marissa Foster met with the Prime Minister at his office, where they bestowed the honour upon him.

Mr Foster, who is also the President of the Berbice Cricket Board, said the Prime Minister had been a long-time friend of the Club.

Prime Minister Phillips expressed his appreciation for the award. It is reserved only for 60 persons who are associated with the Club and who are positive role models for young people.

The PM said also made a donation to the club’s Christmas Charity Programme. He extended congratulations to the Club on its outstanding work and pledged to visit in the near future.
