Recount sees 100 boxes completed today

The Guyana Elections Commission has reported that one hundred more ballot boxes were processed.

At the close of Sunday, May 31, 2020, Region Four saw 41 ballot boxes completed; Region Six processed 34 boxes, Region 10 saw 15 and Region Nine completed ten ballot boxes.

A total of 1,684 Statements of Recount (SOR) were tabulated for the General Elections, and 1,684 for the Regional.

The recount of the votes cast in the March 2, 2020, General and Regional Elections continues tomorrow.
