Prime Minister receives commemorative portrait

Prime Minister, the Hon. Brigadier (R’etd) Mark Phillips was this morning presented with a wooden portrait of himself to commemorate his appointment to the Office of Prime Minister. 

The token was presented bylocal businessmen Mr. Marcus Shivrattan, the Production Manager of Shivrattan Moulding and Mr. Komal Ramnauth, the CEO of KOJAC Marketing, at the Office of the Prime Minister, Colgrain House, Camp Street, Georgetown.

Prime Minister Phillips expressed his appreciation for the gesture and noted that the excellent craftsmanship was done locally. The portrait is made of locally sourced cedarwood.
