Richmond Hill South Ozone Park Lions Club of New York donates exercise books to MoE

The Richmond Hill South Ozone Park Lions Club of New York has donated 15,000 exercise books to the Ministry of Education.

The Honourable Minister of Education Priya Manickchand thanked the group, noting that the books will go a far way in the hinterland communities. She said the books will benefit rural families also who may have difficulty affording this resource due to the harsh effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Minister Manickchand said her Ministry is willing and happy to partner with the Club going forward to execute projects that will make a positive difference in the lives of Guyanese.
