Adios amigo! PM Nagamootoo bids farewell to Mexican Ambassador

Prime Minister, Moses Nagamootoo and his wife, Mrs Sita Nagamootoo attended a farewell dinner for Mexican Ambassador, Ivan Roberto Sierra Medel, who left Guyana on Friday last after concluding his tour of duty.

Ambassador Medel has promoted stronger relations between Mexico and Guyana, and played a great role in opening the Mexican market for Guyana’s paddy and rice.
The dinner was hosted at the Chinese Embassy by Ambassador Cui Jianchun and his wife, Mrs Huili Liang. Among the guests of honour attending the event were the Indian High Commissioner, Venkatachalam Mahalingam and his wife, Mrs Mahalingam; and Russian Federation Ambassador, Alexander Kurmaz and Mrs Kurmaz.
