Hinterland teams hosted at special dinner, set for finals of Digicel Football Competition tomorrow

DPI, GUYANA, Saturday, July 29, 2017

Minister of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs Sydney Allicock and Minister in the Ministry of Communities Dawn Hastings-Williams this evening hosted dinner at the New Thriving Restaurant, Providence for the Hinterland football teams. The teams are from Annai Secondary and DC Caesar Fox Secondary, better known as Waramadong Secondary. Minister Allicock applauded the two teams and noted the value the hinterland students bring to the competition.

The finals for the Digicel Nationwide School Football Tournament will be held tomorrow at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora: Chase Academy versus Annai, and Waramadong versus Christianburg Wismar.
