Message of Condolence from Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo on the passing of his Lordship Randolph George, Former Anglican Bishop of Guyana

GEORGETOWN – (Wednesday, July 20, 2016) The Office of the Prime Minister mourns the passing of His Lordship the Right Reverend Randolph George, former Anglican Bishop of Guyana, who passed on Monday, July 18, 2016.

Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo wishes to express to Mrs. Sheila George, the wife of former Bishop George, his four children – Gail, George, David and Christopher and to the entire Anglican community.

The Right Reverend Randolph George served the Anglican community for twenty eight years (1980- 2008) and was bestowed with the Cacique Crown of Honour in 1994. He was a knowledgeable, soft-spoken and amicable leader of the Diocese.

May his soul rest in peace!
