Minister Henry pays respects to family of Headteacher Carlotta James

MOE visit

On Saturday, August 25, Minister of Education Nicolette Henry, Chief Education Officer Marcel Hutson along with Senior Education officials of Region Four visited the relatives of Carlotta James who died in an accident involving a truck early Saturday morning.

James, of Buxton, at the time of her death was the Headteacher of Dorcas Nursery School located at Plaisance.

In her engagement with the grieving family Minister Henry offered her condolences on behalf of the MoE and the Government of Guyana and pledged her Ministry’s support during this difficult period for the family.
