On Sunday, August 16, 2020, Minister of Public Works, Hon. Bishop Juan Edghill, visited several areas in Region 10 -Sister Mariah Elizabeth/Three Friends, Coomacka, Old England, Nottinghamshire, and Speightland.
Minister Edghill interacted with the residents bringing them up to date on the new PPP/C Government’s agenda and assured that the Administration will be working for all of Guyana.
Throughout his engagement, Minister Edghill was well received, and the residents took the opportunity to highlight their issues (such as the urgent need for fixing of the bridge at Three Friends Mariah-Elizabeth) and other infrastructural projects.
Minister Edghill was keen to point out that even though some of these projects are small, they affect large amounts of residents. He encouraged everyone gathered to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols from the Ministry of Health as we continue to fight the pandemic.
