PM meets Ambassadors Karran and Insanally

(Office of the Prime Minister- May 18, 2016) – Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo on Monday received two of Guyana’s newly accredited Ambassadors, who paid him a courtesy call.

They are Ambassador (designate) to the People’s Republic of China, H.E Bayney Karran and H.E Riyad Insanally, Ambassador (designate) to the United States of America (USA).

Prime Minister Nagamootoo congratulated the new envoys whom he has known for many years, and expressed confidence that they would excel at their new posts.

Both Ambassadors have wide-ranging diplomatic experiences. Dr Insanally joined Guyana’s Foreign Service in 1990, while Mr Karran became an Ambassador in 1996.
