President Ali congratulated by King of Morocco
-expresses desire for co-operation
His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali has received a congratulatory letter from His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, who expressed the hope that the two nations can start a “new chapter” of co-operation.
In his letter, King Mohammed VI said, “We keenly look forward, in the Kingdom of Morocco, to working with the Co-operative Republic of Guyana to start a new chapter in our relations based on dialogue, consultation and full respect for our countries’ peculiarities and immutable values. This should help us fulfil our people’s aspirations for fruitful co-operation rooted in the principles of South-South solidarity.”
King Mohammed VI also expressed his “warmest congratulations” to President Ali and extended his best wishes for his success in high office.
