PUBLIC NOTICE – Ministry of Social Protection
The Ministry of Social Protection wishes to advise the public that commencing Monday, 20th April, 2020, the collection of Public Assistance / Senior Citizens Coupon Books, as well as the stamping of PA booklets will be facilitated between the hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These measures are taken to prevent the spread of COVID – 19 and safeguard of beneficiaries of social assistance (Old Age Pension and Public Assistance) in light of the current COVID-19 situation.
The public is encouraged to make contact with their local office via the telephone numbers provided below for additional information. However, in the event that clients must visit one of the offices, they are reminded to wear a mask, sanitize hands before entering the office and adhere to the Ministry of Public Health social distancing guidelines.
The Ministry encourages all Guyanese to stay safe during this period.
