Chinese Ambassador calls on Labour Minister

Chinese Ambassador to Guyana, Cui Jianchun, his Deputy Chen Xilai and Commercial Counselor Hu Hanming, today paid a courtesy call on Minister of Labour, Hon. Joseph Hamilton at his office on Brickdam.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation and the Minister Hamilton discussed several areas of cooperation. Among these were job opportunities and training for public servants.
The Labour Minister also met with the Executive of the Guyana Civil Service and General Workers Union (GCSGWU).
GCSGWU is a non-governmental organization for the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) and General workers advocacy and representation.
