Chinese Ambassador pays courtesy call on Education Minister

(13th October 2020)– Today, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Guyana, His Excellency Cui Jianchun paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Minister of Education Priya Manickchand at her Brickdam office.

The officials discussed how the two countries can strengthen relations with regards to education and addressed areas of mutual interest and co-operation and how these can be actualised, with the objective of strengthening their existing good relationship.

There was a commitment by both parties to collaborate in areas that will be beneficial to both countries. The People’s Republic of China and Guyana have traditionally shared a good relationship for a number of years.
