Education Ministry formulating strategies for effective and efficient delivery of virtual education

¾ safety of children remains paramount

The Ministry of Education (MoE) is committed to keeping children both safe and engaged academically. Towards this end, Minister of Education, Hon. Priya Manickchand, this morning, met with the Management Information Systems Unit (MISU) of the Ministry of Education.

The engagement is intended to formulate strategies for the effective and efficient delivery of education virtually against the backdrop of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting was attended by the Head of MISU, Mr. Indar Singh; Mr. Godfrey Munroe, Coordinator-Systems Development; the Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Ms. Nicola Johnson; Assistant Chief Education Officer- Nursery, Ms. Samantha Williams and Director of NCERD, Ms. Jennifer Cumberbatch.
