Guyana’s Ambassador to Brazil visits the Dr. Zilda Arns Fundamental Education Centre in Itapoã, Brazil.

A team headed by Guyana’s Ambassador to Brazil, His Excellency George Talbot, recently visited the Dr. Zilda Arns Fundamental Education Centre in Itapoã, Brazil, as part of the Open Doors Embassies programme. The programme seeks to bring together diplomatic representatives in Brasilia and students from the national public school network. This fits into the Guyana Embassy’s own promotional efforts to present Guyana to different constituencies in Brazil.

Also, prior to this visit, a group of about forty students and administrators from the school visited the Guyana Embassy in Brasilia to learn about Guyana’s history, culture and national symbols.
