–Min. Patterson confident of winning the competition
DPI, Guyana, Friday, February 22, 2019
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure is bringing all the energy on Mashramani Day. At the ministry’s costume band launch yesterday at the Kitty Roundabout, Infrastructure Minister David Patterson confidently declared that his office will walk away with the top prize. He humorously warned the other ministries to be prepared come Mash Day.
The ministry will be taking the streets under the theme, “Working together on infrastructural development through collaboration and partnerships for an improved Guyana.”.
At the unveiling, the female revellers stepped out in costumes depicting women in the aviation field who are transforming the sector. The male revellers displayed a representation of construction workers upgrading and rehabilitating the country’s road network system allowing for the movement of people, goods and services thereby promoting economic growth.
Minister Ferguson echoed the sentiments of Minister Patterson and stated emphatically that she expects the Infrastructure band to be the undisputed winner. She further invited those present to join the band for the celebration on February 23.
