The students received haversacks, hats, umbrellas, lunch kits, school shoes, socks and other school supplies. Minister Adams-Patterson-Yearwood said that the initiative was a collaborative effort by the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) and a business individual who requested to remain anonymous. The minister said the aim is to ensure every child is properly equipped to attend school.
The delighted students and parents expressed their appreciation for the timely supplies.
