Local entertainers show their commitment to assist new PPP/C Gov’t in fight against COVID-19 

proposals to be presented to Health Minister tomorrow 

Earlier today, several entertainers met at the Umana Yana to brainstorm ideas and draft proposals to assist the Ministry of Health in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

These ideas will be presented to Health Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Anthony, tomorrow.

Director of ‘Guyana Carnival’ and ‘Hits and Jam’, Kerwin Bollers, founder of the local entertainment agency – Team MMR, WR Reaz, and Robbie Singh of ‘Pulse Entertainment’ were some of the local entertainers in attendance.

Yesterday, August 19, they met with Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Frank Anthony, and Minister of Public Affairs within the Office of the Prime Minister, Hon. Kwame McCoy, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC), to discuss their involvement in communicating COVID-19 related health protocol messages to Guyanese.

During the engagement, Ministers Anthony and McCoy noted that the local entertainers have a pivotal role in relaying the health-related message to the country.
