Message of solidarity from the Government and people of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana with Italy on the collapse of the Morandi Bridge

Georgetown, Guyana – (August 14, 2018) His Excellency, President David Granger and the Government and the people of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana stand in solidarity with the Government and people of Italy and express sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives and those who were injured in the collapse of the Morandi Bridge in the City of Genoa.

President Granger stands with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte as his Government deals with the rising death toll and work to restore normalcy after this tragic incident, the deadliest of its kind on European Continent since 2001.
