PM Nagamootoo goes for routine medical checks

Prime Minister, Moses Nagamootoo, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Sita Nagamootoo, departed Guyana on Friday, March 8. The Prime Minister is slated for post-surgery check-up.

On February 12, 2018, Prime Minister Nagamootoo underwent a successful heart bypass surgery in the United States of America.

While he is away, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carl Greenidge will perform the duties of the prime minister.
