Prime Minister makes donation to Corentyne Comprehensive High School

Students and teachers of the Corentyne Comprehensive High School, today, received two laptops and sport gears donated by Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo.

The presentation was a follow up on gifts donated by Mrs Sita Nagamootoo, wife of the Prime Minister, in an effort to enhance the Home Economics Department.

Prime Minister stated that the school holds special value in his life and it was once a haven for children coming from the working class villages. Prime Minister Nagamootoo taught at CCHS during 1964-1967.

Some of the finest cricketers including Alvin Kallicharan and Table Tennis Player Anand Sookram attended the Corentyne Comprehensive High School.
