Rotary Governor pays Prime Minister Courtesy Call

District Governor of Rotary International, Mr. Trevor Blake today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister, Honourable Moses Nagamootoo at the Ministry of the Presidency.

Governor Blake, who is from St. Kitts, is on a four-day visit during which he will inspect several projects that have been undertaken by the Rotary in Guyana.

The Governor who is the Managing Director of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange Ltd (ECSE), raised with the Guyanese Prime Minister two signal projects that Rotary intends to pursue in Guyana, i.e. diabetes and youth-at-risk, both of which received support from the Government of Guyana.

With the Governor were Guyanese Rotarians Mr. Peter Peroune and Ms. Renata Chuck-A-Sang. Accompanying the Prime Minister was Mr. Wallace Ng See-Quan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister.
