VP Jagdeo, ministers to engage public tomorrow
Vice President Dr Bharrat Jagdeo and cabinet members will host a public day on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC) to engage with citizens.
The exercise provides members of the public with a direct opportunity to engage with the vice president and government ministers on matters of concern.

Public days have become a regular feature of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) Administration’s outreach efforts, allowing citizens to raise issues ranging from community development to personal welfare matters directly with senior officials.
Monday’s session is open to the public and is expected to draw residents from across the country. Persons with pressing concerns are encouraged to attend the session.
On the other hand, President Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali conducts monthly outreaches to the various administrative regions, ensuring those in outlying regions receive the same level of attention as those in the capital.
To date, government cabinet outreaches have been conducted in Regions Six, Three and Four along the Linden-Soesdyke Highway.
