Attempted break and enter at GWI’s Chesney Office

It is with grave concern that GWI reports that at approximately 3:30 hours on Wednesday, 20th February 2019, there was an attempted break and enter at the company’s Chesney office in Region 6.
The security officer on duty reported to GWI’s Region 6 manager that an individual clad in black was observed in the compound next door to the office. According to the security officer, at about 4:30 hours, as a result of a barking dog, checks were made and it was discovered that the windows on the western side of the office were open.
Additionally, it was observed that books and bags were on the floor and checks at the back door, which is located on the southern side of the building, showed evidence of attempts to pry the door open.
A report was made at the Albion Police Station and an investigation is underway.
