Prime Minister, Moses Nagamootoo and his wife, Mrs. Sita Nagamootoo along with Minister of Natural Resources, Raphael Trotman attended a formal dedication and church service for babies at the First Assembly of God Church Wortmanville this morning.

Among those babies to be dedicated was the son of Cynthia Rutherford, a staff at the Office of the Prime Minister.
PM Nagamootoo along with the congregation, listened attentively to the officiating minister’s message which focused on youths influencing change in every sphere of society.
Rev. Dr. Murtland Raphael Massiah spoke of the influence millennials, and youth have in government, business, arts and entertainment, education, family, media and religion.

The call of God for ministry in the church, the reverend explained, is not limited to being a pastor but young men and women can have a significant impact in each of these areas. On this note, he encouraged the parents of the babies to dedicate themselves to the upbringing of the next generation.

“We want them to be protected, they are our greatest resource, therefore, we must do everything to protect them.” Dr. Massiah said.

After the church service, the Prime Minister interacted with well-wishers of the Rutherford family and their baby as well as members of the church.
