GECOM Chair assures credible elections

Chair of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) Justice ret’d Claudette Singh has once again put to rest any concerns of regarding credible elections on March 2.

The Chair spoke with journalists outside the Umana Yana today, moments before the elections body commenced nomination day activities.

According to the Chair, ” I will not sell my integrity for all the oil in Guyana”. Only one way I know

19 political parties will be presenting their candidates to GECOM as the country prepares for General and Regional Elections on March 2.
