Pupils of the GPF Juliet Griffith Day Care Centre were in high spirit today as they tramp through the streets around Police Headquarters, Eve Leary to steel pan music during the Daycare’s Annual Mash Float Parade, under this year’s Theme “Preparing Our Children for the Future”.
The Revelers were brilliantly cladding in costumes of angel wings, halos, and masks, while others wore tiger bodysuits. Echoes of the melodious steel pan, played by the Force Steel Orchestra drew scores of onlookers from their Offices, many of which were seen gyrating.
The little ones accompanied by their parents and caregivers made their way west into Barrack Street, north onto Parade Street, east into Young Street, then south into Camp Road where the proceeded west into Barrack Street again before re-entering the Mounted Branch compound where they dispersed.
