MP Pilgrim hopes to unify all walks of life

DPI, Guyana, Thursday, January 3, 2019

Newly sworn-in Member of Parliament, Barbara Patricia Pilgrim said that her main goal is to unify all to benefit from equal opportunities, in keeping with the government’s commitment of the ‘Good Life’.

“I have always been a member of People National Congress (PNC) and not a back-bencher member, a very active member in Region 6. I always try to bring people together and that is what I plan to do to move Guyana forward…  We all need to benefit from the resources of Guyana,” Pilgrim said today during an interview.

The MP said that Region 6 is widely known for agriculture, hence moving forward she intends to pursue intensified improvements with emphasis on roads, farming and livestock rearing among others.

MP Pilgrim is replacing recently expelled Charrandas Persaud.
