Mrs. Sita Nagamootoo ushers in festive season at Prophetic Renewal Ministries

– thousands of dollars in gifts donated

DPI, Guyana, Sunday, December 2, 2018

Mrs. Sita Nagamootoo, wife of Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo, on Sunday morning, joined the congregation at the Prophetic Renewal Ministries, Nigg Settlement, Corentyne, Berbice, as part of her Sunday’s worship and to also usher in the season of Christmas.

Mrs. Nagamootoo, who visited on behalf of her husband the Prime Minister, was also accompanied by the Advisor to the Office of the Prime Minister Raymond Hall and Personal Assistant to the Prime Minister, Deeann Ali.

In her address to the congregation, Mrs. Nagamootoo reiterated that Christmas is the season for sharing and celebration of the birth of Christ. Additionally, she congratulated the parents for the effort they have made towards the lives of the children within the church family.

“We have to continue to groom our children and help them to uphold great values in life… that’s one way our society can move forward,” she said and extended greetings for a festive season to all Guyanese.

Over 70 children received early Christmas gifts; while close to 30 families were presented with food hampers. A cheque of $50,000 (fifty thousand dollars) was also handed over to the church for the further development of its ministry.

At the end of the visit, a prayer of consecration was done by Pastor Tony Seeram, for the speedy recovery of President David Granger and continued blessings for Prime Minister, Moses Nagamootoo and all other government ministers.
