“People need the information. It is a moment of anxiety and before you (media operatives) allow the rumors to take root, you need to fill the space with accurate and factual reports. It is very important in situations like this,” the Prime Minister said.

Additionally, Prime Minister Nagamootoo commended government media operatives, particularly for the coverage and information that was provided last evening to the public as events unfolded at the Georgetown Prison.
